Viz to release "Dragon Sword and Wind Child"!

Omg! It's from the same author who wrote Good witch of the west! One of the very, very few fantasy-things i actually enjoy. Actually it has been avaliable in english since 1993, and been released several times, i just haven't noticed anything.
I like the new cover better, so i'll wait for that.

Old cover from 1993

New cover coming 2011

Dragon Sword and Wind Child consists of 3 books. It's probable that the 2 sequels aren't released in english, but since the new edition says "Book 1", i believe Viz will release those also.

Maybe they will release the rest of good witch from the west too?
Tokyopop cancelled good witch of the west, releasing just the first 2 books. It made me very sad ;_;
It went really bad for tokyopop back then. They cancelled everything that's good.

Noriko Ogiwara is a really good writer, yes?

I watch Clannad After Story, being confused and a bit wtf with huge SPOILERS

What is written here, contains huge spoilers for Clannad: After Story.

It's been some time since i blogged, so i'll just write some brief thoughts on the ending of Clannad: After Story.
It made me a bit confused and wtf at first.

Nagisa gets pregnant, and because of her illness they worry a bit about her giving birth. Nagisa gives birth to her child at home because of a snow storm. She dies.
Tomoyo's sad, and leave the baby (Ushio) with Nagisa's parents. When Ushio's 5, Tomoyo decides to take care of her himself after going on a trip alone with Ushio.
Tomoyo's acting annoyed towards Ushio.

But after a trip to the flower field they become like a real father and daughter!
When winter comes again, i think, Ushio pees herself and gets sick. It becomes clear that she has the same illness as her mother. Ushio wants to go on a trip with her father again, and asks him over and over again. He wants to wait until she gets better, but finally gives in, in the end because it's her only wish.
On their way to the train station, Ushio insists on walking herself. She struggles to hold herself up, collapsing in the end. Then she goes blind, asking if they're already on the train, and if it's nighttime, and dies in her father's arms.
He curses the town, accusing it for making people happy, just to take it away again.

Then it happens.
We suddenly go back to the time where Tomoyo first met with Nagisa. Unlike the first time he choose not to approach her, regretting alle the sadness that happened. But as she walks away, he forgets all regret, and call out for her. She then says she's relieved that he didn't regret meeting her.
Then he's suddenly at the scene where Nagisa gave birth to Ushio. Although this time she didn't die!
Then they all live happily, and the most tragic ending that is, turned into a happy ending.

I was confused. How could he just travel back in time like that, and everything's fine again?

The ending wasn't really the last episode either. There are 3 or 4 extra episodes containing alternate what if-stories. The very last episode was a summary episode, and that one cleared up my mind, and everything made a bit more sense.
The town is magic! It's been there since the first episode. "Shall i take you to a place where wishes come true?" or something like that. Catch a light orb, and your wish shall be granted. It's a story Nagisa had heard, believing she had heard it when she was a child, but wasn't sure from where. Her parents had also heard about the story, but didn't know where from either. BORABOM!

It's been so long since i stopped watching Clannad, so i didn't remember clearly.

Then i will watch AIR next, maybe? Or maybe i should just watch more stuff i haven't finished.
